Double Duty Dates

by Sabrina Cohen

Love isn’t always convenient. Sometimes your MeetMoi alerts pop up at a time when it just doesn’t seem possible to squeeze anything else on your plate, no matter how excited you are. In the spirit of romantic multitasking, we’re sharing a few last minute date ideas that’ll have you killing two birds with one stone.

Workouts

There are lots of fun ways to combine your date and your workout—a run, a bike ride, the gym—some even offer drop-in classes for non-members. It’s a great way break a sweat and sneak a peek of your date in form fitting attire! It’s also the perfect atmosphere to spark lighthearted conversation, flirtation, and even physical contact. Spotter anyone?

Shopping

Normal, everyday activities like grocery or gift shopping can provide an interesting view of your date’s tastes and behaviors. When you’re in a crunch, it can also be a great way to consolidate your time and gauge whether there’s enough chemistry to warrant a more in-depth date.

Movies

Calling all cinephiles! Awards season is in full swing, and the Oscars are right around the corner—February 24th to be exact. If you still haven’t seen the nominated films, the thought of catching up may be overwhelming. Pull double duty with a film date. It’s a convenient way to stay current, test the romantic waters, and have neutral material to discuss with your date.

Ever escaped the timing trap with a double duty date idea? We’re curious to hear yours!
